Gest - ‘Work With Your Hands’ Social Video

We were approached by Austin start up Gest to produce a video that highlights their innovative technology and helps drive awareness and preliminary sales. They have developed a wearable device that tracks hand and finger movements and had been implementing it into various programs which would allow for gestures to control pre-programmed functions. Since this video was aimed at creating awareness and initial backing we wanted to keep the audience engaged and interested in learning more about the product. The Pan Up Productions team filmed this video in a shared working space in Austin with a lot of natural light and brought in greenery to help liven up and contrast the wooden features. In terms of video production we used a mixture of stop motion and creative editing techniques to have the founders interact with the space in a more dynamic way, rather than cutting away to insert shots.
